Are you looking for a harmonics indicator for TradingView? Maybe you’re tired of drawing your own fibs and searching for harmonic patterns on your own. They are complex, precise, and can take a lot of time to draw our on your own. Crab patterns, bat patterns, Gartleys, sharks…we want them all.

That’s why we’ve compiled this list TradingView’s best harmonics indicators.

What are harmonics?

Harmonic chart patterns differ from basic chart patterns by their unique 5-point shape and structure. They are defined very precisely, thus when a pattern is 80% complete (price hits 4 of the 5 points correctly), the 5th point can be projected as a potential reversal zone. Enter at point 5 and ride the price action as it turns.

The 5 points making up harmonic patterns are chosen from swing highs and lows, and must conform to strict Fibonacci retracement and Fibonacci extension levels to be valid.

What makes a good indicator?

I’m so glad you asked. Most importantly, a good indicator should be easy to read and understand. For TradingView, scripts are written in Pine Script. Its pine code (if you have access to it) should be simple and clean. Any signals given by the indicator should be clear. And if there is any room for confusion, or the indicator is a complex one, the creators should include extra information such as PDFs or YouTube videos to explain it. Better yet, if there’s a group for you to join of other traders also using the same indicator, you’re golden.

With that said, let’s get on to the list:

1. Market Scripters – Geometrics Scanner

Because we built it to be the the best harmonic scanner for TradingView. In one indicator you get all the popular patterns scanned for you automatically as well as target take profit levels and Potential Reversal Zones. Shoot us a message in TradingView for access.

Here’s the link to the script. Here’s the YouTube video.

2. NXT2017 – Multiple

This guy sells each pattern as its own indicator. Though they look nice, you may be paying more than you should.

3. RicardoSantos – Pattern Recognition v2

This one is free, and open source, but unfortunately it doesn’t do a great job of displaying the patterns when they occur. Use at your own risk.
