Counting to 5 can be tricky. This automatic Elliott Wave counter will plot Elliott waves for you on your price chart! Impulse and corrective waves become easily recognizable in real time and are automatically updated.

The wave counts displayed are based on the swing highs and swings lows in price action, and as many Elliott patterns will be drawn as possible barring TradingView’s server computation limits.

What Is Elliott WAve theory?

Elliott determined that the human psychology which drives markets comes and goes in waves. Five waves to be exact. The ebb and flow of price action can be visualized and drawn as three impulse waves with two corrective waves in between.

Because humans are emotional beings, our collective psychology drives prices up and down as we trade in droves. Knowing where the current price action is in these predictable patterns can be extremely valuable when making trading decisions.
